Installing LightBurn

Work through these in order. The whole process usually takes under ten minutes.

    Check your system

    LightBurn runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11. Make sure you have administrator rights on the computer you are installing on.

    Download the installer

    Use the download link from your order email. Save the file somewhere you can find it, such as your Downloads folder.

  3. 3

    Run the installer

    Open the downloaded file and follow the prompts. Windows may ask you to confirm the installation; accept to continue.

  4. 4

    Enter your licence key

    Start LightBurn and enter the licence key from your order email when prompted. Keep that email — you will need the key again if you reinstall.

    Add your laser

    Open Devices and add your controller: Ruida, GRBL, Smoothieboard, TopWisdom or EZCad2. Set your bed size and origin to match your machine.

    Run a test

    Start with a small, low-power test on scrap material to confirm framing and focus before committing to a real job.

    Installation starten

    Öffnen Sie die heruntergeladene Datei und folgen Sie den Anweisungen. Windows fragt eventuell nach einer BestĂ€tigung; bestĂ€tigen Sie, um fortzufahren.

    LizenzschlĂŒssel eingeben

    Starten Sie LightBurn und geben Sie den LizenzschlĂŒssel aus Ihrer Bestell-E-Mail ein. Bewahren Sie die E-Mail auf — bei einer Neuinstallation brauchen Sie den SchlĂŒssel erneut.

    VĂ©rifier votre systĂšme

    LightBurn fonctionne sous Windows 10 et Windows 11. Assurez-vous de disposer des droits administrateur sur l’ordinateur concernĂ©.

    TĂ©lĂ©charger le programme d’installation

    Utilisez le lien de tĂ©lĂ©chargement figurant dans l’e-mail de votre commande. Enregistrez le fichier dans un dossier que vous retrouverez facilement.

    Lancer l’installation

    Ouvrez le fichier téléchargé et suivez les instructions. Windows peut demander une confirmation ; acceptez pour continuer.

    Saisir votre clé de licence

    DĂ©marrez LightBurn et saisissez la clĂ© de licence reçue dans l’e-mail de commande. Conservez cet e-mail : la clĂ© vous resservira en cas de rĂ©installation.

    Ajouter votre laser

    Ouvrez PĂ©riphĂ©riques et ajoutez votre contrĂŽleur : Ruida, GRBL, Smoothieboard, TopWisdom ou EZCad2. RĂ©glez la taille du plateau et l’origine selon votre machine.

    Faire un essai

    Commencez par un petit test à faible puissance sur une chute afin de vérifier le cadrage et la mise au point avant un vrai travail.
